簡介

仙臺二高、東北大學を卒業後に人生の転機を迎えて、紆餘曲折を経てアメリカ・ボストンのバークリー音楽大學へ入學。ジャズ作曲科と映像音楽科の２つを主専攻、ゲーム音楽を副専攻で學び首席で卒業した。ASCAP やISJAC、JEN などが主催する歐米の作曲コンテストにて數々の賞を受賞するなど作品は國際的にも高く評価されている。

現在は、自身のプロジェクトとしてラージアンサンブルをはじめ弦楽器を取り入れたアンサンブル、ソロや小編成バンドによる表現を行うほか、各メディアやゲーム、舞臺蕓術、企業やイベント、學校や個人、展示會などへの楽曲提供やパフォーマンスも行う。（NEXCO 東日本企業CM、サンベンディング東北企業CM、G7 科學技術大臣會合、全國都市緑化フェア 2023、日本郵政、日本テレビ『全日本大學女子駅伝』、朗読劇『バイオーム』、NHK『あの日、何をしていましたか？』、『小曽根真feat. No Name Horses』、Appゲーム『EGGRYPTO』、宮城県大河原産業高等學校校歌 など。）

2022 年9 月、1st アルバム『Crossing Reality』をリリース。Remy Le Boeuf, 石若駿, 西口明宏ら日米の気鋭プレイヤーを迎えた本アルバムは2023 年CDショップ大賞/地域ブロック賞を受賞。また、フラワーアートやインスタレーション等のコラボ、能楽との共同プロジェクト、心理學や精神醫學の學會で特別プログラムを実施するなど領域をまたぎ多彩な活動を行う気鋭の音楽家。

Hailing from Japan, Eri Chichibu is a highly regarded composer, arranger, keyboardist and bandleader. Eri's dedication to her crafts are celebrated internationally with accolades such as the CD Shop Award (Tohoku Block Award for her 1st Album "Crossing Reality") and honors from ASCAP and ISJAC. Eri's life journey includes psychology studies at Tohoku University (Japan), followed by her acceptance into Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), where she dual-majored in Jazz Composition and Film Scoring, and minored in Video Game Scoring. What sets Eri apart is not just her ability to compose music but her distinctive life path and its intersection with psychology. This unique fusion of life experiences enriches Eri's artistic perspective, contributing to her dynamic and creative music landscape.
